Overview

Auriven Labs is committed to protecting your privacy. We collect as little data as possible — and only what is needed to make our apps work.

Information We Collect

  • Location data — Used only while the app is open to show your position on-screen. Never stored or transmitted to any server.
  • Crash reports — Anonymous diagnostic data via Apple’s standard crash reporting, used to fix bugs. This data is not linked to your identity.

We do not collect names, email addresses, or any personally identifiable information.

What We Don’t Do

  • We do not require account registration.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties.
  • We do not run advertising or track you across apps or websites.

Subscriptions & Purchases

Pro features are available through an auto-renewable subscription purchased via Apple. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple — we never receive or store your payment details. Subscription management and cancellation are handled through your Apple ID settings. See Apple’s Privacy Policy for details on how purchase and transaction data is handled.

Third-Party Services

Our apps display maps and data from Apple Maps and the Nova Scotia government’s ArcGIS service. Those services are governed by their own privacy policies and we do not control the data they collect.

Data Storage

All data our apps save — favourites, field notes, points of interest, settings, and cached map data — is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that store your personal data. Deleting the app removes all locally stored data.
